UNESCO Chairs - UNESCO Chairs

 

UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs projects deal with training and research activities and cover all major fields of knowledge within UNESCO’s competence such as Education, Human Rights, Cultural Development, Environment, Basic and Engineering Sciences, Communication, etc. The principal beneficiaries of this programme are institutions of higher learning in developing countries and countries in transition.

UNESCO Chair in Healthy Living (507), established in 2000 at Tbilisi State Medical University , (Georgia)

UNESCO - INCORVUZ Chair for the Development of Non-Governmental Organizations in Countries in Transition (513), established in 2000 at Tbilissi State University , (Georgia)

UNESCO Chair in Copyright and Neighbouring Rights (559), established in 2001 at Tbilisi State University, (Georgia)

UNESCO Chair in Environmental Sciences and Management (91), established in 1995 at the Technical University of Georgia , (Georgia)

UNESCO Chair in Information Society (619), established in 2003 at the Georgian Technical University (Georgia)
